Grey Suns

In my work, there is a tension between remembering and forgetting, the fixing of an image on paper and in memory and its fading or destruction. In case of "Lascaux", through coating walls with a photo-sensitive emulsion onto which photo-images could have been projected, I have created an installation, where the subsequent images were appearing and disappearing during the course of exhibition. In the "Grey Suns" series the images are chemically unstable. Here, the photo transparency was mounted directly on lightboxes, whose light was affecting the unfixed surface of the photograph.
